How to multiply any two digit numbers by 11. For example 34 x 11.
Write down the digits of the number you're multiplying with a space in between.  3   4
Add the two digits, and write the sum in the space.  3+4 = 7                                 374

What if the sum is greater than 9?  For example 69 x 11
Start like before................................................................. ...............  .                      6  9
Add them together, putting the second number in the space, and carry the one.      1 5 
One additional step, add the carried 1 to the first digit.                                             7 5 9

There you go.
