dm sound functon....

this seems to have stopped... so unless you are actually looking at the chat screen, you will miss pvt messages.... can it be reinstated?

This is a known issue that was reported in the main Chat Update thread, and Serviceman explained the developers are aware of the bug.

and another issue:   I have had several people tell me that when I log off at nights that my chat button shows that I am active.  Received SEVERAL messages during the night.  Just had a buddy watch and I logged off 3 minutes.  He said my chat stayed on and showed I was active.  Is  this another bug in the system
